#TheRemix: On this crisp fall Sunday, Pastor Cousin preached a heart-warming sermon on “God’s Grace” from 2 Corinthians 12 (key verse 8). Lessons in Grace: 1) Our weakness can strengthen our Faith in God. God is able. A great Faith in God can deepen our personal relationship with God.
2) Our weaknesses can strengthen our awareness of God. Unanswered prayers doesn’t mean God isn’t present—trust God to meet our needs (not every want), wait patiently on God’s purpose and plan. Don’t let weakness keep you from your destiny.
3) Our weaknesses can strengthen our friendship with God and others around us—we need support from others. God will provide people in our times of need. We must love, care, uplift, encourage and pray for each other!
4) Our weakness can strengthen our hope in God. He looked beyond our faults and saw our needs. God’s Grace transforms and heals—it brings purpose. God will get the glory! Center your mind on the place of peace and stay in the will of God. Be grateful for what’s good in your life. God’s Grace is more than sufficient for our needs! Amen!
After Service, Rev. Charles Griffin led our “Table Talk” discussion focusing on 1) “Restoration and what it means to me; 2) “What’s our role in the restoration process”; and 3) As a result of today’s sermon, what can we do to strengthen our Faith?” It was a lively and delightful discussion.
